Robin Gibb sta lavorando con il produttore Peter John Vettese ad alcune canzoni, da includere in un nuovo progetto che potrebbe vedere la luce entro la fine di quest'anno.
La notizia viene direttamente dall'interessato, che nella più recente newsletter di robingibb.com, aggiunge anche che alcune canzoni sono già scritte, altre sono in corso di scrittura e che spera di intensificare lo sforzo creativo durante la prossima primavera, per rendere disponibili i pezzi dopo l'estate.
Il nuovo lavoro, come già detto, potrebbe essere disponibile entro la fine dell'anno, anche se non è ancora chiaro se si tratta di un album in senso stretto, in quanto nella newsletter Robin comunica che solo continuando a stare in contatto con il suo sito uffucile sapremo "se e quando" queste canzoni saranno pubblicate (e "come", visto che è sempre più frequente la sola pubblicazione in negozi virtuali tipo I-tunes).

Robin Gibb e Peter John Vettese avevano già lavorato insieme per la realizzazione di alcune canzoni in seguito inserite nell'album dei Bee Gees "This is where I came in". Le canzoni erano "Promise the Earth", "Embrace", "Deja Vu" e "Sensuality". Quest'ultima canzone, tuttavia, non fu inclusa nell'album.

Robin has written some new songs (early this year and before Christmas) and started recording some songs with producer Peter John Vettese.
According to himself (he wrote on his official newsletter), he hopes to write and record more this spring, in order to relaese the new tracks after Summer.
It's not clear, in this moment, if the tracks will be available on a cd or only on the web (i.e. I-Tunes). "If and when things take shape", he said, will be told on his official website, so let's stay tuned with it!

Robin and Vettese worked together for the first time for some Bee Gees tracks, for the album "This is where I came in". The songs were "Promise the Earth", "Embrace", "Deja Vu" and (not included in the released edition) "Sensuality".
